Training and Speaking about Financial Advising

In addition to his consulting work with clients and advisory firms, Dr. Grubman is sought after for his experience in educating financial advisors about the communication skills demanded in today's competitive marketplace.  He is on the forefront of training for financial planners and other advisors about truly understanding the client relationship.  He offers coaching, training, and speaking presentations about such topics as:

  • the psychology of money and wealth, including sudden wealth syndrome
  • understanding the important psychological differences between first-generation wealth  (Immigrants to the land of wealth) and those born and raised with wealth (Natives of the land of wealth)
  • key elements of trust in the advising relationship

  • how to discuss fees successfully - for both clients and advisors
  • how to collaborate with therapists during the normal course of financial services.
